Hello Forum Members,
I was wondering if anyone in the group might have some time to help me with a question regarding a T series HP
I noticed that the barrel has a controller of proof code that is different from the frame and slide. The barrel is marked with an S with the 5 point star above it and the frame and slide are marked with a W and the same star.
I'm wondering if this is normal or if the markings should be consistent between frame and barrel. The barrel does not have a serial number on it, which I believe is normal for T series pistols from the late '60s Is it possible that the barrel is not the original barrel?
If anyone has any information To share, it would be greatly appreciated. Also, I can provide photos of all the proof marks and he serial number if that would help.
Thanks
Peter
