WTB - Argentine Detective or conversion kit

On 3/5/16 I purchased a FM M-95 Detective from a dealer in Idaho. I sort of fell across it & he said since I was first in line I'd get it. He had many requests and some folks offered him more money than what he was asking ($625) but was honest and did the right thing. But - if you have any Detectives or conversion kits available please contact me.

Edit - 2/20/16
So - the guy who said he'd ship me the Detective disappeared - maybe abducted by aliens. After sending me an email from his office saying he'd be willing to ship it he didn't answer my follow-up email. I left a message on his work voicemail but nada, squat, nuthin'. So I've been on the hunt again & may have found one but the dealer is out of town for two weeks & hasn't actually seen the gun in person. I spoke with him today & made it clear I'd buy it if it's decent. Now I wait until March 1st before I call him.

In the meantime I bought an unfired 1974 S&W Model 39 new in the box and a 1994 S&W Model 66 .357. It has a 2-1/2" barrel, it's stainless steel, has a red ramp front & white outline rear sight and was barely used. Almost no turn ring & came in the original box so I detailed every nook & cranny. I flipped it & made $150 in six days & will advertise the Model 39 now.

A few days ago I bought a 1965 Walther P1 that looks like it's never been holstered. The guy I bought it from sent me an email this afternoon & offered me a 1954 Polish Tokarev in mint condition at a sweet price. Couldn't pass it up.

Hope my hunt for a Detective pans out this time.

Edit - 2/5/16
A couple of weeks ago I found a nice Detective online but the seller said 'No Shipping.' I sent him an e-mail anyway but didn't get a response so I consoled myself with a 9mm Dan Wesson ECO. Yesterday I got an email from him - my e-mail had gone into his Spam filter - and he said he'll ship it after all. I returned his email with some questions but haven't received an answer yet. So now I'm checking my email about every 30 minutes.

I wish you good hunting. I do see one for sale from time to time, but nothing like it used to be. Seems most folks that have them just keep and shoot them. They are super shooters, at least mine is.

It is amazing how much those little $199.00 kits Century used to sell have appreciated...

These days a nice one goes for $400 and up!!!!!!!

I'm surprised no one makes this sort of thing anymore... there seems to be a market for the kits...

FWIW
