Colt CCO Gunsite model

Much as I love my Hi-Powers, I could not resist bringing home this Colt CCO Gunsite model in .45 acp--especially as I paid only $850 out the door for a NIB model with all paperwork, spare mag, and original Colt blue plastic case. Previously owned by an elderly collector who never fired a round through it (I doubt he even took it out of the safe more than once or twice), this piece is far more pristine than my very meager photography skills can convey. Sometimes you have to feel you're the luckiest man alive, and tonight I am that man.

Nice score!

I've purchased or sold to customers about a dozen Colt's in the last couple of years. ALL have been reliable and exhibit extremely good workmanship.

The last one was a "Clapp, 21st Century Commander". It's now my primary carry pistol and at 28 oz. it just "disappears" when you strap it on. Perfect.

Enjoy your new Colt.

Congrats on a nice pistol. My five inch stainless Colt Gunsite was my main CCW for a number of years and I find the Gunsites to be very satisfactory.

Looks real good! A dealer here had one for 2000 francs (!!!). I hesitate for while but it was real to much and had bad experience with a LW Commander in the past (crack), so...

I wish you lot of fun with this one.

Thumbs Up

Congrats!! What a great piece for the price. Those kind of transactions seem to keep a smile on ones face for a day or two.
