Cmp 1911

Hi, recently the CMP held a lottery for the first batch of US Pistols (8000). I received a 6000 plus number. I received one recently it's a Colt 1911 made in 1919. It was rebuilt by (the real) Springfield Armory . They replaced the barrel , magazine and extractor I shot this yesterday and function is 100%. Trigger is nice and crisp but a little heavy. I got 2" groups at 7 yards, shot fine at that distance with a 6 o'clock hold, Mike

Congrats on your "new" 1911. It looks to be a nice piece, and it obviously functions 100%. What's not to like?? Enjoy!!
