Hello. The P225's I've owned over the years have all been 100% reliable with any JHP round I've fed them. I've owned perhaps a half-dozen or so over the years and all were just stone-cold reliable and decent shooters. They do have a heavier DA trigger-pull than other SIG-Sauers but it is my understanding that when these pistols were being made for the German police, they specified a heavy pull for the first shot; SIG-Sauer simply designed their pistol to these specs. FWIW, I've known a couple of narcotics officers who carried these pistols by choice and in some very dicey situations.
