This might sound stupid but remeber, I'm a rookie hi-power guy.

When a dealer says;
"This is an original FN Hi-Power, not a Browning import, rare."

Is this not wrong? Is this not backwards or am I confused??

Hello,

The FN-Browning High Power was started by Mr. Browning, but, was finished up by Mr. Dieudonne Saive several years after Mr. Browning's passing.

The High Power has Always been manufactured by Fabrique Nationale "FN", Browning Arms Company just imports The High Power.

Hope This Helps,
Bob

Beachpork: I'd be finding another dealer to do business with. This guy is mis-informed and obviously looking to make a fast buck off you. It's like letting my wife take the car in for an oil change and she comes back with a new head gasket replacement.

What is so rare is the real question since Sockman answered your question to the T.

Well, thats what I thought. This person had an advertisement and was not trying to sell to me, however it appeared that he didn't know squat about Browning.

It's too bad that some people do this stuff. I guess that they think if they use words like "rare" then they will get a sale.
