Hello,

At the gunshop they have a box of 38 special wadcutters.

If my Spanish is up to par, it says that it was made either for or by the Venezuelan military.

I don't see anything that says "nolo corrosivo" or anything related to the word "oxygen." This would tell me whether or not it's corrosive.

The box is plastic, with a black label bearing red and green printing. I should have gotten a picture, but did not.

I've never shot a wadcutter before and would like to get the box of 50 as "shooters." However, I've also never messed with corrosive ammunition and I don't want to deal with it if it is corrosive.

Does anyone have any idea what kind of ammo I'm talking about?

Thanks,

Josh <><

OK. Saw that: Nice holsters too.

The CAVIM is indeed the military/police stuff. From hearsay I have heard that 7.62x51mm and 7mm Mauser ammo from that source is allright, but I've never used it myself.
Perhaps it'll still be there next payday.
