Hello, this pistol has been in the family for about 45 years. I'm trying to identify when it was made and any other info.
It's a Belgium made Browning 9mm. The holster we have, which obviously might not go with the gun originally, also says Belgium Made and has a stamp that looks like
The handwritten name is Rogowskÿ , which looks like it is a Polish Jewish name (from quick Internet search).
Serial number on handle below the trigger guard is 73C69516.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

So I've answered my own question. It was made in 1973.

You are correct, it a "C" series BHP made in 1973. These are outstanding BHP, and bring a premium due to their quality. I own a '69C BHP. Enjoy
