Yes, Dave's at it again. Is this a good brand in your opinion/experience? Triton (tm) calls them " Hi Vels" (tm). Are they really? I'm not even sure if their JHPs? If so do they expand well? SHOOTER'S (tm) hypes them for "reliable penetration" and I think they're also JHPs. Yes, I'm still looking for the "magic" bullet besides the expensive XTPs (tm).

Performance on a budget, and it can be done. Which is why I've owned both the super reliable, underappreciated Makarov and now own a Kel-Tec (tm) P11.

I thought Triton went out of business about two years ago.
Places were still closing out their supply fairly recently, though.

I never did buy any, although I always planned to. It always sounded good, like an alternative to CorBon (not that one was really needed, since I like CorBon just fine).

It has been several years since I tried them but the 9mm did not feed well even in my G19. I shot them up at paper and forgot about them. There are plenty of proven design on the market now. Just my experience.
