Hi there all,

While over on the www.swissrifles.com website, I ran across a thread and link that I thought might be of interest to some of our more "athletic" members. (I am not one of them).

It is a link to an annual "gun run" that is part of a Swiss Tradition.

It is pretty amazing that these folks would run 26.5 kilometers with a full pack and rifle. I noticed that some were carrying the older K-31 straight pull rifle.

Since I do not read German/French/Italian, maybe some of our more multi lingual member can assist with the translation of the website.

Chris,

The "sh-sport" is probably "schiess-sport" or "shooting sport" and "waffenlauf" means "weapons run."
