What would you folks recommend or a SD load for the 2 inch barrel Taurus 9mm? Preferably standard velocity.

Thanks

In standard velocity? I'd recommend:

124-Grain Hornady XTP or TAP
124-Grain Speer Gold Dots
124-Grain Federal Hydra-Shoks
124-Grain Remington Golden Sabers

Honestly though, from a 2" Barrel I'd opt for +P. In which case Federal, Speer, Remington, or Winchester will be your best choices.

Hiya keeta!

Basically, use any load that would also perform in a 9mm pocket auto.

Old-style loads (Silvertips, Hydrashoks and the like) will lose more velocity than the newer designs in short barrels. Still very respectable.

+P loads in my 940 have a definite 'bite' to them.

Hope this helps some.

Regards,

Pat
