I have long wanted an STI BLS 9 or LS 9.
A guy in my area has an LS 9 and it has been back to the factory four or five times.

I'm wondering if anyone has purchased one of these and what kind of experience you've had.

I hear the full-size STI's are great, but the smaller ones have been problematic.

Hello. I LIKE STI guns a lot, ...but it seems that I hear more complaints about the LS9 and its kin than good. I have experience with but one that was owned by a close friend. It didn't work properly and was eventually sold or traded.

STI makes great full-size pistols I wonder why they can't get the LS 9 / BLS 9 guns to function reliably?

It seems at a time when people are looking for very compact 9mm's that this could be a great seller especially for 1911 fans.
