I am awaiting the arrival of a Star BM. I have read Mr Camp's critical assessment of it(which is one of the main reasons I decided to buy it) as well as anything else I could find, and everybody is saying that replacement parts will be hard to find shortly-especially firing pins and sears. Does anyone have drawings with dimensions of these parts for future reference? If I'm like everyone else, I figure I will really like this gun and will want to keep it running. Thanks

Recent aquired a Star Model BM. It laid on a wet towel for many years from the looks of it. I need the two levers, slide lock and safety, for the pistol. Any ideas where I might get the same.

Star BM's are too cheap to buy to spend a lot of money on several parts such as you mentioned. I would buy another BM, then your original BM can be your very own "parts" pistol if need be.

Just a thought.

hello, I'm new to this forum. I own a star BM and enjoy shooting out at the range. I have a chance to buy some new magazines real cheap that will work on star S/S1 & SM/SS, I have read that many of the parts used on the different star pistols are interchangeable between models would these magazines work on my BM? thank you ahead for your advise.

Edward I hope you find the information your seeking. After doing some research on the above mentioned sites I find that only the model BM magazines will fit the BM pistols, The other magazines were for different caliber rounds .380 & .32 apc. But thanks for having this forum. Tom
