Hi there,

I just recieved my monthly copy of American Rifleman with a wrap-a-round cover advertisement collaberation of the new Springfield XD being offered in .45 GAP.

Any thoughts on this potentially potent combo of marketing genius's-Springfield and Winchester?

The XD appears to be doing very well. I don't know if the GAP will stand the test of time. I hope so as I like the concept of having a double stack .45 in a smaller frame size, but I doubt that I will buy one until the GAP proves it will be around for the long run.
