Down at the gunshop I frequent, I ran into a Spanish copy of a 1926 M&P. The inscription on the barrel read something like "Obrea Eibar" along with the caliber. One gun was 38 SPL and the other was 32-20. Both were marked at $125. They both wore S&W furniture, albeit a little ill-fitting, and had the large "bulb" at the end of the ejector rod. Lanyard rings had been removed. Condition was probably 75%. Is or was Spanish steel of any quality back then? Would this be a good buy, or would you readers save up for a real model 10?
