I'm with Stephen Camp about the Keith-style .44 spl. Buffalo Bore makes such a thing, with a 250 gr. SWC IIRC. It's a great round, but it is pricey due to small-scale manufacturer. I load a SWC on top of 14.2 gr. of 2400 that gives me a comparable round, but it would be great to buy it off the shelf at a decent price. I would also like to see a 240 gr. JHP in .44 spl +P for self defense. Something in the area of 950 - 1000 fps. I have shot hotter loads in my Model 24 but don't really care to -- that's what the .44 mag is for.

Hello Again,

I also wish 147gr. JHP's with a velocity of about 1200 fps. were available in factory loads for The .38 Super.

Take Care,
The Sockman
