I have to say, those finger-groove grips actually take a gun that I never really could decide how I felt about, aesthetically, and make it a genuine keeper.

Another fine pistol you have there, thor.Do you like shooting the .40S&W or .357sig better?I have a P229 40/357 that I keep with the 40 barrel in it.This is due to the possibility of having to shoot it without hearing protection.

Nice photos!

Thor, aren't P220's in .38super hard to come by?Not many folks talk much about it let alone seen one for sale.Seems like a screamer of a pistol to shoot.

P220 .38supers have been discontinued, correct?
As a long time fan of the .38 Super, I am happy to say that I was able to purchased a NIB Browning/Sig Super along with a .45 ACP version last year. I believe that very few of these Supers were sold in the U. S. The European mag release is not a problem for me, and I truly enjoy shooting it.

You can also buy the 226/.40 and get a 9mm conversion barrel and drop it in and shoot 9mm.

I did.

Barsto and Firedragon sell them.

Finger groves got to go... i dont like mine at all.. the regular rubber hogues are best i think... but i do like them on the smaller sigs.
