and I couldn't put it back down. Bought it at Academy Sports for $449 .... it came with three 10 round clips and five plastic practice rounds plus a mag feeder. Spend a little time reading this article on what this weapon had to endure to become an acceptable firearm for the Czech Police and NATO.

This is what the handgun looks like... tactical light not included.

Cocked trigger pull is 5lbs 6oz and uncocked trigger pull is about 12lbs. The decocker lever is easy to activate by a forward push of the thumb, yet the firearm can still be fired without pulling back the slide. Sights are low profile, three dot.

Ergonomics and grips are superb. I'll have it at the range in a day or so and report back!

I sold a P-01 to raise money for a revolver. It was a wonderful gun, accurate and ergonomically almost perfect. Reason I didn't keep it, the trigger kept blistering my trigger finger. It just rubbed it the wrong way. Otherwise the gun was an absolute delight. I kinda wish I'd kept it and sent it to CZ for an $80 trigger job. IIRC, they'll reduce the pull to 8 lbs DA and 3 pounds SA. Mighta cured the blistering problem.

Sounds like I've got $80 already spent, then. The pistol is dead-on accurate with very little muzzle rise. The trigger feels a little gritty prior to release, but I'm sure the CZ trigger job will relieve that. I like the low profile sights, but I guess my optic nerves have a few curves in them. It's a little hard for me to sight in accurately fast. I do think, though, that more visible sights can be obtained. If you are aware of any, I'd sure appreciate hearing about them. Thanks for the responses!!!
