Hello everyone Just wanted to share with you my new toy.
I purchased a surplus Star BM and had a friend of mine
Sam Damewood in Alamogordo NM Work his magic on it.

Nice pistol! My BM was redone years ago by Frank Paris, a former Detroit Police Gunsmith (now deceased). I hold mine in high esteem. Regards, Richard

Hi Gil,

That is one very nice Star BM! Sam's work is just plain out of this world and you really have a gun that looks good!

I wish you guys could feel how nice Gil's gun sits in your hand with those new grips.

It's really neat to see people doing work on these surplus Stars. They're good guns to begin with, but it's really amazing how they shine after a little TLC. :)
