Hello Jerry,

I carried one for about a year before switching back the S&W 642-2 J frame revolver.

Mine was very dependable and worked consistantly well as long as I kept the frame rails lubricated with grease (Mil-tec). It also shot consistantly well with most brands of ammunition it liked and I carried Federal Personal Protection in mine.

I put about 200 rounds downrange with mine until I was convinced that it was broken in. Hopefully yours will give as good service as mine did.

Best and let us know how it works out for you.

Chris

I had a PF-9 and put about 400 rounds of ball thru it but it would never feed anything other than ball. It was nice and flat for the pocket. I sold it to a friend who complained that his P11 was too thick. The PF-9 was suprisingly accurate and I saw a seasoned shooter put 8 rounds into an IDPA head at 15 yards. Long trigger takes some getting used to and the reset is unique but it worked well with ball.

sorry folks, its been a while....i posted my range reviews on the KT message board at ktog.org

basically, the gun works as prescribed, still havent had its second test outing to see how it works after a break-in and cleaning, but so far its a good performer.

denfoote, FWIW, i had a Raven .25 that went bang when i asked it to and put lead where i wanted it also, those two charactoristics do no negate the SNS status of a gun, though the term SNS is used today as a tongue in cheak saying for most any small pocketable gun regardless of quality....so dont take it to heart.

I have a second generation P3AT. It has been flawless from day one. I carry mine on a belt clip. I use DoubleTap Gold Dot 90gr which produce 1000fps out of the short KelTec barrel - and I do not feel undergunned.

I always thought of a Saturday Night Special as one of those cheap guns that would probably last through 1 box of cartridges. I don't know how many I've fired in my P3AT, but I passed the 1000 mark in a few months of owning it, and have now had it more than a year.

well, times change like the winds.......

ive trade the 3at for a mossberg riot gun.....

i will note, that i had no mechanical issues with the 3at at all in the 300 or so rounds i fired in it....but i just couldnt warm up to it.

i will save up for another Seecamp .32

Dear Folks,

The Kel-Tec P11 I had was 100% reliable with any ammo I fed it, including cheap Russian HPs. Sadly that one was stolen.

I bought another P11. I'm currently waiting for my P3-AT to arrive at my local dealer's.

The winters here in Vermont are very long but I'll post a range report on both as soon as I can.
