FMC 115 gr. OK for Home defense?

I have a BHP made in 1976. It has the barrel with the hump. I am not sure if it will feed JHP, but I know it will feed FMC or FMJ. Is 14 rounds of this sufficient for Home defense? I am not concerned with wall penetration.

Unless your home is in Basra, you should be fine.

I wish I could be unconcerned with wall penetration, but where I live, I'm mighty concerned about it!
