had heard about the fiocchi recall,,blew it off..then,
read it here, thought what the hell, I will go check..
3 boxs on the recall in my ammo dump
guess I am going to ups tomorrow..
I called their (Fiochhi) offices late last night and left a message. Just got off the phone with a Fiochhi person who was extremely nice and helpful.
She is sending a Fed-Ex prepaid tag. All I have to do is put it in a box and call Fed-Ex for pick-up.
The ammo will be replaced and shipped at no expense.
While I regret the ammo problem, it's nice to see a company doing all it can to take care of the situation in addition to making it easy for the consumer.
Speaks well for the company. Mistakes are going to happen. It's how they're handled that counts.
I received the prepaid mailer from Fiocchi. It is for FED EX ground. Closest drop off is thirty miles away. Fed Ex Express(AIR) drop off at the end of my block but they won't take it.
I've asked them to mail me prepaid UPS mailer. It's only three miles for UPS dropoff.
I think the reason I got my replacement ammo within a week, is after the alert posted here, I immediately called Fiocchi and sent it off two days later when I got the free Fed-Ex label. I probably got in before the big rush.
I do believe you'll get your ammo--I'd said that they've been getting hammered lately.
