Picked up my CZ 75 in .40 last night will post pictures when I get off work tonight. It's a little different than my CZ 75 in 9mm in that this one has a full length guide rod.

Congradulations sir. I really think you are going to enjoy dancing with that lady too. I was so impressed with my first one, that I was lucky enough to buy a second one from a member here.

I think you will enjoy the way the weight helps to soak up the perceieved recoil in that platform too.

Hello gib,

First, congradulations on your latest aquisition!

While I do own the CZ-75B in 9mm, someday I would dearly enjoy adding the .40 S&W to my collection of "shooters".

I hope that you have the opportunity to favor us with a range report when you have time. I would be very interested in hearing how it performs for you!

Of course, the .40 S&W lends itself to a "conversion" to one of my favorite calibers--the .357 SIG!

Hi Chris- You bring up a good point. I forgot all about .357 sig.

I think I'll ask Twoguns for the name of that company in Arizona that builds .357 barrels for .40S&W.

Howdy Mr. Gib,

The name if he company is EFK Firedragon. They have only recently added the CZ barrels to their listings. The last time I checked they only offered the standard 9mm replacement barrel. They assured me several months ago they planned to have both the 9mm and 357 Sig barrels for the CZs about last June. But a followup indicated they were having problems getting the materials needed, and anticipated they would release the 9mm barrel first, to be followed with the others later.

Once I have their 357 Sig barrel in hand for my 75B 40, and have confirmed it works as expected, I will let folks here know for sure.
