Comparison of Rem L9mm1B and Federal L9BP loads

Hi Y'all,

The Remington L9mm1B 9mm JHP (Walmart Greenbox)and the Federal L9BP JHP loads both have a loyal following. Both are loaded to standard pressures and use JHP bullets of an older technology.

Are there any real performance differences between them?

I've knocked living things down with the Federal load when it was still available here, and I've only busted milk jugs with the Remington offering, so maybe I'm a bit biased when I say I would go with the Federal load.

If nothing else, it has a nickel plated case which is a bit slicker than the standard and should help in a great number of ways WRT functioning.
