Hi there all,

I had read the following article on Jack Fusilier's website a couple of months ago and wanted to share it with you all:

Last night, I took my most heavily shot pistol, my FEG PJK-9HP and tried this procedure on my bore.

It worked like a charm! Even though I had cleaned it earlier in the week after a range session, I still got a lot of the fouling out of the barrel! Apparently, there are deposits of copper and fouling that even soaking in Hoppe's No. 9 won't remove!

I hope this helps some of you lead reload shooters and folks that need some additional scubbing to your bores.

Rather than use a wooden dowel as the link suggests, I wrap a few of the SS strands around a bronze bore brush. It works very well.
