Hi there all,

I must have fallen asleep for the past month, but when I stopped by the local gunshop yesterday on my way home from work, the salesman told me he couldn't get any Wolf 7.62x39 or import ammunition in that calibre.

Apparently, everyone of his suppliers is out.

Did I miss something or is the supply drying up from previous imports?

I am going to the local gunshow today and hopefully will be able to snatch up a case.

I just heard the same thing at a local gun shop. He is almost out of 7.62x39 and cannot get more from his distributors. One of them told him that all the Russian stuff -- Wolf, Barnaul -- is going to Iraq and Afghanistan. Not necessarily to the baddies -- the new governments of those countries are using AKs because they are in plentiful supply. Or so the story goes. Whatever the reason, Rick can't get any more for the foreseeable future.

Hi there,

In the interim, I did email Wolff Ammunition in Long Beach, CA.

They replied that their next shipment is expected later this month and will be out to the distributors by early December.

Hopefully, there won't be in any changes in prices.
