I had ordered one last Dec. Was put on waiting list . It came in last week. I had ordered the 4.25" barrel. I am impressed with the Quality of fit and polish with no machining marks anywhere. It is a high polish stainless that looks like nickel. Lock up is tight and action very smooth. The muzzle crown perfect and recessed for protection. Off to the range shooting 100 rounds full power 125 grian 357 magnum. Accuracy excellent with the magnum rounds and a box of 38 special 158 swc. Serial number in the 5000 range. Great job on these Colt and no stupid key lock. These are the strongest Pythons ever made. Better steel and frame 30% stronger than the older Python's. Back in the 1970's I had 4"blue that got pretty loose with a decade of magnums. They were like k frame SW's not made for a diet of heavy magnum loads and the older colt action was more prone to go out of time.

Wow, Jeep, better than the ones from long ago? That is quite a recommendation. Seldom does repeat actually outdo the original. I am impressed.
