Apologize for Going for the Laugh.

To all members of the forum. I want to apologize for wasting space with my attempt at humor for posting "Renaissance Set Range Report" That was not an intelligent discussion about guns subject.

I thought that anyone doing anything as insane as that would bring up other stories by members. I should have added that to my posting.

I have said this many times before that this is a great place to be and I don't want to do anything that would take away from the integrity of this forum and insult any of the members.

Apologize for Going for the Laugh.

Howdy Mr. Spikey614,

Thank you for your apology sir, it is much appreciated. We do our best to have a site where our members know they can come to find intelligent discussions of topics they can either offer help in or learn from. While there are probably many sites where such a post would not have even been noticed, we do try to keep ours on a higher level, for the sake of all our membership.

I do understand, as I am sure all of us do, that you were simply trying to be humorous, and perhaps generate some discussion, as you noted. But thanks for understanding our point of view sir.

A site is only as strong as its membership. That is one reason we are so proud of this site - it members. Each of you, individually and collectively, make this site one to me worth sweating over a bit at times. For that I thank each member for their contributions. We look forward to you continuing to share your knowledge, experiences, and questions with us Mr. Spikey614.

But whenever you or any other member is simply trying to be humorous, just please think twice before hitting that "post" button. That way every member can be proud to call this site "theirs".

Thanks again for understanding this viewpoint and your apology sir.

I also hope you have gotten medical attention for your gun shot wound, as it is not something to be taken lightly in my view. I hope you heal quickly and that situation is resolved quickly with the range.
