Yet Another Bianchi Question

I need to replace my Bianchi Black Widow after 30+ years.
What are your thoughts on the model 75 Venom, particularly for the 1911?
I'm impressed by Milt Sparks BN-55 but I like the added security of a thumb snap retention because that's what I'm used to. The Venom resembles a BN-55 with a thumb snap, so I was thinking

This holster https://www.safariland.com/products/...ter-10864.html

I'm not a fan of "slide" style holsters that leave the barrel exposed. With my limited experience with the style, an El Paso Saddlery Hi-Slide, the muzzle made contact with all kinds of stuff, from pants seams to chair arms.

I tore the back pocket on one pair of jeans, over time, reholstering the gun, and while probably not an issue with a thumb break holster, banging the muzzle on arm chairs when sitting pushed the gun out of the holster on more than one occasion, though I did catch it with my elbow.
