New Browning Hi-Power

The Charles Daly firing pin retention plate has been fitted. Some filing the rounded top flat, with a shoulder left on each side and it fits. Also some more work on the new grips for the Browning and again I have two great Hi-Powers. Thanks for the encouragement and comments. Life is good!

New Browning Hi-Power

I've found (Browning/Fn) Hi-Powers to be much like Mint Julips at The Kentucky Derby. One is plenty, two is one too many, and three...that's just not near enough! Welcome to the Club.

New Browning Hi-Power

Well....I guess I'm another one to confirm....... HP's DO multiply.

I just added this - My first Browning - (picture is from gunbroker.I need to get better pics as soon as I get it home)

To go with these - Chromed Charles Daly, Blued Charles Daly, FEG P9M and an FM M90

and this one - FEG PJK-9HP

Honestly, I will add at least one more (a Practical) before I'm done.

New Browning Hi-Power

Steel609,

Thats a great collection! Congratulations on the new Browning! My Charles Daly shoots great, but its dimensions are some different from the Browning. After I removed the magazine disconnect and fitted new Micarta grips the Browning pistol feels thinner and lighter. Both point and shoot better than any of my other pistols.

Has anyone weighed and measured the Charles Daly HP against the Browning 9mm Hi-Power?

Once I have my Browning on hand, I'll try to compare the differences if any are found.
