Clone made in Turkey - Tisas Regent BR9

Saw a photo for the first time of a Tisas Regent BR9 High Power clone made in Turkey. Wonder if this is more accurately a clone of the FEG PJK, a copy of a copy so to speak.
I don't have photo hosting so no images. Found it on an auction site.

I don't know if it is, but the gun has gotten great reviews from those who have bought them.

It is a very close clone of the Classic FN Hi Power. I like mine, and when it comes to Hi Powers, I'm a little bit of a snob.

They are interesting guns. I'm willing to wait a bit and see how they tend to function before buying one, though.

I see that this is an old thread, but wanted to jump in. I have one of these Tisas BR9's and just love it. I don't have a lick of problems, but I did upgrade with the BHSS reliability package, FSS kit and a TR Enabling barrel. I added slim G-10's as well. As soon as I buy an appropriate holster, I will be carrying this fall/winter/spring. I also have an FN Israeli police trade in and a BNIB Browning HP, and the Tisas is very bit a solid as the "real" thing.

I agree! I picked up an early stainless model. Replaced all the springs, extractor, added SFS, a C&S Trigger, RDIH finger grips, a buffered recoil spring guide rod and the BHSS Elite Expert barrel. Never a problem after the original extractor broke. Beautifully finished inside and out!

I like the idea of the one piece barrel with the 1:10 twist.

My Tisas's

More info:

I had the foresight to snatch up 2 brand new in the box stainless BR9's. One of them has been upgraded with BHSS internal parts, including a new barrel. In hind sight, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the BR9 as it came stock from the factory......I should have left it alone and saved my money HIHI.The BR9 posted is still BNIB and untouched to give you a preview of it.
The BR9 that I upgraded, has maybe 700 round through it and it has been ultra reliable and accurate. When comparing the BR9 to my "real HP's", it is every bit as well built and I would CCW it without any hesitation.
It appears that new BR9's have not been available for over a year now???? No one seems to know why??
