Inglis Hi Power Wood Stocks

How To Avoid Fakes and Copies +
Who was the original Importer of
surplus Inglis Wood Stocks into the
U.S. after ww2 + Was there more
than One manufacturing run on the
Wood Holsters ?

Bix, there have been numerous discussions on this and other forums about the Inglis wood stock holsters. Google should give you a lot of info.

Just a quick summary, in reply to your questions:
The copies are all Chinese made, and the tell-tale give-away is the wood used.
There were several importers as importation was piecemeal and occurred over a period of decades.
The late Clive Law's book, "Inglis Diamond", https://www.amazon.com/Inglis-Diamon...inglis+diamond offers details of their manufacture.

The book is well worth the price.

Excellent book.

I met Clive about 40 years ago, and he was a gentleman.

Unfortunately he died 10 June 2017, a sad day.
