I think I'd be worried about making him mad...

Well off duty I seem to carry what my wardrobe dictates although Iíll be the first to admit that probable is not the most prudent way to go. Here in South Carolina living along the coast I tend to carry lighter (CZ-82; K-frame snub; 1911 cs or a Mak) in the summer time if Iím wearing just shorts and a t-shirt but I do carry an extra magazine or speed strip now because of recent events. In the winter months itís usually something more full size such as a 1911 in .45 acp or in .38 super as wardrobe allows; again I now carry extra ammo that I didnít do before.
I think someone already mentioned this but I am seeing less and less pocket guns among my civilian friends. It seems the .380 is not as attractive as the 9mm now especially with the newer, smaller 9ís available.

Locally, it's been only a couple years since CCW permits really began to be issued. So we really do have many more folks legally carrying something and that's an improvement. On my time, I usually have a G31 or a 5" 1911/45. Backup is usually a S&W 640-1 or Dad's reliable old PPK. Spare ammo and a car bag with stuff to help me return home.

The jihadis rob, rape, and murder innocent people every day around our world. And they are always trying to take over every single country they move into. Worse than our own home grown thugs, who are bad enough. So I simply always carry.

:) my old M66 Snubby does get teamed up with a J frame here around the house fairly often. It has history and does put rounds on target.

I have daily carried since the late 80's. However, back then I carried in a fanny pack worn up front. Carried my Hi-Power. Then I bought the first model 27 Glock to come available in Oklahoma City. Carried it in the center consoles of whatever car I owned over the years. Then in September of 2014, a woman was beheaded 10 miles from my house. It came time to start carrying on my person again. The Glock 27 was ideal for that. I have it on my strong side any time I'm not in the shower. I'm wanting to start carrying the Hi-Power because I shoot it better, but haven't decided on which holster will work best for concealed carry and comfortable presentation. I carry concealed because of the surprise aspect. While Oklahoma is an open carry state, I don't often carry open except on my property. I wish everyone who owns a handgun would carry it open. It's my firm belief there would be less than half of the aggravated crimes committed if everyone carried open.
