Sig ammo

I am seeing standard caliber pistol ammo made by Sig. Some of the sites have reviews and it does not get the highest marks, decent but. not the highest. Does anyone have any background or personal experience. Is there something about the ammo that makes it more suitable for Sig pistols?

Thanks

George:

My only experience with Sig ammunition is in .38 Super JHP. At one time Sig offered a .38 Super in the P-220 to 229 series. The .38 Super was offered in a Euro version and the more seldom found American version. The difference was in the magazine release location.

The reason I have some experience with the Sig .38 Super ammunition is I have found it more often on dealers shelves than the equivalent load from Corbon. I really believe Sig just wanted to get a share of the ammunition market. If they can exploit fan appeal from owners of their firearms; they are not likely to complain.
