JayPee,

Now you have a good excuse(if you needed one) to purchase a 9mm upper for your AR, or purchase an UZI!!...I have purchased weapons for less of an excuse than owning 500 rounds of ammo for one....LOL

Heh, I just saw the stats on gun sales for February and I would suspect there will be a lot of such purchases being pursued this year.

I have an AR15 9x19mm from Rock River... it is more fun than just about anything you can shoot... something that much fun should be illegal... or at least sinful...

Recently I picked up a SIG MPX 9x19 and it too is a LOT of fun to shoot...

Both are quite accurate and recoil is pretty much non-existent.

FWIW

Chuck,

Many years ago I purchased a Rock River AR-15 in .223cal. I believe that RR makes a nice weapon. I can't shoot my AR at my indoor range, and don't go to outdoor ranges much anymore. i have been thinking about getting a 9mm RR conversion for my RR Ar-15 so that I could shoot it at my outdoor range.

Perhaps it would make more sense, dollar wise, to just pick up a complete RR Ar in 9mm. I usually don't need too much encouragement to purchase fun guns!! Life is short, and I want to keep having fun as long as I can do so.

I think you would enjoy a 9x19 AR...

Mine has a EoTech sight set up to double witness... and it is t tack driver at indoor range distances... I need to try it at longer ranges and see what it does.

BTW. of the budget permits, look at the SIG MPX...

I'd say go for it...
