Crazy Anyone know where else to find some 9mm?

These guys have some left. Prices are a little high, but they include free shipping which is big.

Those are extortionist prices if you ask me.

The only reliable source I know at the moment is my loading bench for practice ammo, and the factory ammo reserve for carry/interpersonal relations uses that I have stored up.

Hello FHNFAN and welcome to the forum. Almost $1 per round! When the prices come down, remember that place. Shortly before the price increases I picked up a good supply of reloading components. Not good planning, just good luck.

It is about impossible to find any bulk 9mm now. I sold all of my 40 caliber pistols to rely solely on 9mm and 45 caliber before the craziness started. Wouldn't you know, you can still get 40 but, not 9.

45 caliber is available but, it is sky high price wise now too.

I had built up a pretty good supply of 9 and 45 prior to the price hikes. After prices started to spiral I quit buying, thinking I would just go to my old standby 22 pistols.

WRONG! Now you can't get any 22LR. It's sad to see the farmers around here and young kids who received 22 rifles for Christmas, etc., now they can't get 22LR.

The congress/president do not have to ban weapons, they are doing it through contol of the ammo. No ammo. No weapons unless you use them as a boomerangs.

I'm done ranting. Back to your original question. No I do not know where to get any 9mm.

My only option down in AZ is to either reload myself or find a local gunshop to reload it for me. best price i found was 180$ for 500, which is a bit steep for 9 but you gotta do what ya gotta do.

Those of us who became skilled long ago finally get to laugh. Realistic defense, tho, can mostly be learned with Airsoft guns and dryfiring. The range is almost always 10 ft or less and you have about 1 second flat before luck becomes the main determinant of the outcome. People hate that fact, but it's demonstrably so. They want their slowfire practice to have some meaning you see. But it doesn't, except for hunting.

We went through the same crazies 4 years ago; remember?

Those with memories measured in milliseconds are excused.

The rest of us ought to have been buying our stash in the last 2 years.

That said, 3 years ago I was surprised upon taking an inventory that my stocks had gone up during that shortage in spite of regular shooting.

I think the difference is I always carry a cash buffer to grab deals with, I make efforts to learn when various stores get their shipments and be there when I can, and so forth.

It ain't rocket science.

The problem most had is they decided to go buy ammo right after lunch next Tuesday and were appalled there was none. I mean they had a credit card, it ought to have been waiting on them to stroll in.
