Anybody have any experience with the Arcus 98DA?
If you need a gun and don't have one, you probably won't need it again.

I got one of the 98DAC's from Southern Ohio Gun and I like it. I'm not great shooter, but the pistol seems as accurate as anything else I've got.(Sig P6, FEG P9M) I've only shot a little over a box of 50 rounds through it(some Blazer Brass and some Remington UMC), but I didn't have any malfunctions.
The sights seem to be right on target too. I see no need to adjust them at all. The front sight is dovetailed in though which is nice in case you may want to change them.
The lettering on the side of the slide is kinda ugly, but I like the look of the pistol regardless.
Southern Ohio Gun has the 98DA and the 98DAC for $300 the last I checked.
I know it may not be a true "clone" but who says a pistol has to be a true clone of something to be a great pistol? I didn't buy the Arcus because I was wanting another clone. I bought it because I read good reviews about it, and it looked like a good buy for the money. The fact that it shares some of it's parts with the Hi Power is a bonus.
Anyway, I know I haven't shot it much yet; but so far so good.
