Federal 9BP

Was perusing the ammo shelves at WallyWorld for some .22 and clerk mentions they have some new JHP in stock. She gets out a box and its Federal 9BP, an old standby for a lot of folks.

I have no idea if this stuff is exactly the same as the 9BP that built its reputation on the streets. I got a couple of boxes to try out.

At $15.97 plus tariff its not going to replace buying case lots but is nice to see it available locally.

No endorsement, just FYI

Regards,

Pat

I still have a couple of boxes of the old 9BP for carry use. Will have to look into the new stuff.

Correct. Better price AND one lot number.

But if someone wants to try a single box........Wallys is the low-stress way to go.

Gents,

I always keep a few boxes in my "hard times" armory. Good stuff.

My Uzi dotes on the 9BPLE version...;-)

Summit Gun Broker is an interesting little outfit. Thanks for the link. I noticed he's got some Remington R38S6 38 Spec 158gr SWC too. You don't see that everywhere.
