PFF: Thanks for your quick reply and please excuse my delay, I visit here as time permits. There does seem to be a lot of positive info out there about this load and I've started carrying it in my vintage (early 60's) Bodyguard.
I have the nyclad loads in several weights and calibers, but regrettably not enough! ATF issues 125 +p Nyclads for 38s. I have some in 357 Mag 158 HP, some in 124 9mm. An ex Agt friend who was DA Investigator attended multiple autopsies where Nyclads were used. He told me that every one expanded perfectly. He will not carry any other bullet-bought a case per caliber for guns he carries.
I sure like them. Just wish they would bring back the 9mm 124gr Nyclads also.
I was nursing along my dwindling supply of old stock when they reintroduced the Chief load (125gr Non +P .38Spec.)
Regards,
Pat
